ISLAMABAD: Coronavirus seems to came under control as during last 24 hours Pakistan reported 60 new deaths and 3,892 new infections.
With 60 new deaths reported in the country the death toll surged to 3,755 and with 3,892 nes infections confirmed nation-wide the toll of infections jumped to 188,926 nation-wide.
The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), has confirmed 188.926 coronavirus infections in the country as well as it reported 3,755 deaths due to COVID-19.
Sindh has crossed the 70,000 infections mark while and Punjab is not so far to attain the unfortunate mark of 70,000 mark. Sindh jumped to 72,656 cornavirus infections. Punjab jumped to 69,536 coronavirus infections. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also crossed the 20,000 mark of infections with 23,388 infections reported in the province while Islamabad Capital Territory also crossed 10,000 infections mark with 11,483 infections reported so far.
Pakistan crossed one million mark of COVID-19 tests as so far 1,150,141 coronavirus tests were conducted nation-wide out of which 23,380 during last 24 hours. 77,754 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas many are in critical condition. Coronavirus epidemic patients are under treatment at quarantine centers of 462 hospitals where 7,295 beds are available.
According to latest figure displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of NCOC on June 24, Wednesday 11:30am, the province-wise break up after confirming the toll of 188,926 infections show that Sindh is at the top of unfortunate table of COVID-19 infections with 72,656 coronavirus cases followed by Punjab with.69,536 infections of the COVID-19 pandemic. The infections confirmed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have crossed 23,388 confirmed infections, in Balochistan toll surged to 9,634, Gilgit-Baltistan reached to the toll of 1,337 infections, Islamabad Capital Territory reached to 11,483 and 892 infection reported in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
The figure given by Coronavirus Dashboard in its province-wise break up regarding the total 3,755 deaths reported in the country. Punjab is at top of the list of confirmed deaths with 1,516 while Sindh with 1,124 deaths at number two. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa death toll surged to 855, Balochistan 106, Gilgit-Baltistan 23, Islamabad Capital Territory 108 and AJK 23.
