Zardari concludes UAE visit focused on bilateral cooperation

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday returned to Pakistan following completing a four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the APP reported.

According to the APP, President Zardari held multiple meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum during the meeting.

The discussion, it said, focused on enhancing bilateral relations, expanding economic partnership, and exploring avenues for deeper cooperation.

It stated that The two sides also exchanged views on progress in defence, security cooperation and strengthening people-to-people contacts, reflecting the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
