KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Human Settlements Ghulam Murtaza Baloch has said that drainage restrictions will also be eliminated during the Clean Karachi campaign and every organisation and every individual needs to play a positive role in this campaign.
This he said during his visit to various areas of district Malir in connection with the Clean Karachi Campaign. Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh Nawab Wasan was also present on the occasion..
The Provincial Minister was also accompanied by DC Malir Abdul Halim Jagirani, Chairman Municipal Malir Jan Mohammad Baloch. They reviewed ongoing cleanliness work at Bhittaiabad, Dhani Bux Goth, Rashidi Goth and cattle colony.

He directed DC Malir to make arrangements to drain out sewerage water in Dhani Bakhsh Goth. On this DC Malir gave orders to the residents a week’s notice to eliminate drainage restrictions.

Under the Clean Karachi campaign, the directions of District Malir members were executed against the encroachments along the Buffalo Colony Road and the encroachments were abolished.
The Minister for Human Settlements said that the entire Karachi, including Malir, was being cleared in the Clean Karachi campaign and the positive effects of the campaign were coming out under the clear direction of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah. The management of the Cantonment Board will also have to play a role in the Clean Karachi campaign to clean up Malir’s Cantonment Areas, he added.
On this, Nawab Wassan said that the Sindh government was cleaning the garbage left in Karachi for years.
